SUMo stands for Software Update Monitor. It is a very powerful software through which you can update your system using latest version of much desired software. It displays small window screen in the corner of your system for updating when you open a new program. Therefore, it keeps your PC up-to-date.
SUMo can automatically scan the system for installed software and checks for available updates. It also filters the Beta version of the software. The user can also select some particular program that he would like SUMo to track. In comparison to other software, it is more compatible and less false positive. It provides internationalized support to the customer.
SUMo is one of the best software currently available in the market. It seems to be faster than FileHippo.com UDC and Secunia PSI. Along with scanning the installed software, it also checks the program files for more results. Therefore, the user can select complete or limited scan. The main advantage of SUMo is that it will open the links from where the user can download the updates, whereas in other software they will automatically open the download page, hence using SUMo, the user can select from where updates should be installed. |
